The Committee for Advertising Practice (CAP) – the body that writes the self-regulatory rules for digital advertising content* – has launched a new website, www.copyadvice.org.uk, to help advertisers, agencies and media owners who may want to check their prospective advertising to ensure it meets the requirements of the rules.Wednesday, 5 August 2009
The new service is:
- Free to use – it won’t cost you a penny but it could save your business the expense of having to amend a campaign when it’s live if it doesn’t meet the requirements.
- Confidential – concepts or imagery can be reviewed at any time in the creative process and the service is strictly confidential.
- Quick and easy to use – it has lots of helpful information and you can speak to an adviser (in regular business hours) and email any material. You’ll receive a response to your query within 24 hours.
Below is a list of the services on the website to help you, but visit
www.copyadvice.org.uk for further information.
