The IAB winter of debates is online killing the pleasure of shopping?

Following our hugely successful Summer of Debates, the IAB would like you to join us for some lively festive banter and healthy discussion on the evening of 12 December 2007.

Internet spending continues to grow at a remarkable rate last year 2006 consumers spent over 30 billion online and its healthy growth looks set to continue. With 13.8 billion predicted to be spent online during the upcoming festive season, the question remains whether online shopping can really match the pleasure of the high street shopping experience. Is it true that many online retailers are still lagging behind with poor site usability, little integration of online and offline sales experiences and neglected online advertising campaigns?
