Three exclusive IAB podcasts

Industry experts discuss mobile advertising, social media and the future of internet marketing in three exclusive podcasts.

Monday, 4 February 2008

At our third annual conference IAB Engage 2007 we took advantage of the sheer volume of industry experts under one roof and asked Markettiers 4 DC to put together three IAB podcasts on important internet marketing themes.

The future of internet marketing

In the first podcast we ask leading online figures –including AOL’s Randy Falco, Bo Hellberg of Ogilvy Interactive and Channel 4’s, Errol Baran where they see the industry going in the next few years. Taking in subjects ranging from the death of the pop-up, the need for engaging and entertaining advertiser content and how the IAB’s diverse membership puts it in a unique position to facilitate the future of advertising, it’s an extremely interesting and thought-provoking listen.

Moving beyond Web 2.0 – Social Media

The second podcast investigates the impact of Social Media on internet advertising and discusses how we can move beyond the clichéd web 2.0 marketing campaign. Yahoo’s, Philip Macauley, Josh Spear of Undercurrent and Jay Stevens of MySpace outline how advertisers are adapting their marketing strategies to reach the millions of people on social networking sites everyday.
