Mobile Advertising Council

In 2007 accessing mobile internet became easier and cheaper for the consumer, this trend is obviously set to continue in the coming years and quality content is starting to pour onto mobile handsets. We’re still a way off from a mobile internet boom, but online advertisers can’t ignore the medium because it shares so many similarities with traditional internet.

The IAB Mobile Advertising Council aims to educate marketers over the coming year to explain what is actually possible now. Council delegates consist of experts from operators, portals, creative and technical agencies and many other important companies in the mobile advertising chain. Key projects will include research, education and promoting industry standards.
