The Internet Advertising Bureau is delighted to announce the appointment of Kieron Matthews as its first head of marketing.
We welcome Kieron from digital marketing agency Dare. Reporting to IAB chief executive Guy Phillipson, his remit will be to communicate the online success story to advertisers and agencies.
Kieron will oversee all IAB marketing communications including: brand marketing, agency presentations, PR, conference marketing and the maximizing of results from IAB research initiatives.
In his previous role as Dare’s marketing director, Kieron was responsible for the management and marketing of the award-winning agency’s external communications. He was also a key figure in identifying new business targets, managing the pitch process and management of clients including Unilever, COI and Diageo.
In his four years at BBH London Matthews was both head of the digital department and senior account director working on clients as diverse as Swinton Insurance, T-Mobile, Bank of Scotland, Early Learning Centre and FTYourMoney.com. Matthews also headed up the digital launch of Xbox across Europe.
Other experience includes stints at TBWA Chiat Day, Toronto; HHC+L, and McCann Erickson, London.
