The German Minister of trade and industry, Michael Glos, will open the trade conference in June. For the second time the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) Europe is staging a conference that will bring together the leading players of Europe’s online marketing industry.
Taking place on June 2 and 3, Interact 2008 will feature panels made up of high-ranking representatives of Europe’s internet, agency, market research and media stage.
The German Minister of Trade and Industry Michael Glos will be opening the second day of the congress with a key note speech. Prominent guests include Jaap Favier (Vice President and Research Director, Forrester Research), Susanne Kunz – Media & Communication Director DACH of Procter & Gamble and Jay Stevens (Vice President European Operations of MySpace). The event is being organised by IAB Germany in co-operation with the Online Marketing Circle (OVK) and the Federal Association of the Digital Economy (BVDW).
After the extremely successful appearance in Brussels last year the online marketing scene is now coming to the German capital. The main themes for this booming industry in the two days will be European online marketing and brand strategies, new forms of online advertising, the development of user behaviour and the latest results of the online advertising statistics. “We have been able to carefully select the studies, projects and speakers thanks to the participation of the national IAB representatives from the whole of Europe. Thus, we can guarantee a very high subject level during the two days”, stated Paul Mudter, the Chairman of the Online Marketing Circle. Furthermore, representatives of WPP and the large media companies will add to the speaker list. Specifically-chosen case studies of prominent brands complete the thorough agenda.
