The Video Advertising Council is made up of video agencies and publishers offering a wide and varied range of expertise.
In 2007 the Video Advertising Council helped establish best practice by publishing the IAB Handbook. Full to the brim with useful tips, tricks and best practice information, the handbook fast became one of IAB’s most popular publications and has helped drive the video advertising market’s growth through education and promotion.
In association with the IAB’s Ad Ops Council, the Video Council has been working towards an initial set of video advertising standards. These standards will be launched with industry-wide agreement to help advertisers when creating and booking video campaigns across multiple sites. As experience has shown with display and rich media standards, this project is vital to the growth and adoption of video as an advertising medium.
