Originally going online offered the prospect of anonymity and the creation of a virtual online persona. However the increased levels of personalised advertising and content made available through sharing data and preferences mean that people are more and more open about their information. Which way will the internet go, increased personalisation or the protection of information through anonymity?

This lively evening event, run by the Future Trends Working Group, will debate this question and with your help decide the future of the internet.

Moderator – Tim Elkington – Research and Strategy Director – IAB

The debating teams include

Rohan Tambryajah – Global Innovation Director – PHD

Dan Calladine – Head of Media Futures, Carat

Chris Buckley – Director of Social Engagement – TMW

Ed Beard – Head of Creative Strategy - LBi
