The Internet Advertising Bureau UK (IAB) is proud to be a media partner to Digital Shoreditch, a great celebration of one of the world’s greatest digital communities - London, along with the ten-year anniversary of its own Creative Showcase
The IAB is the proud media partner of Digital Shoreditch, a celebration of the outstanding creative, technical and entrepreneurial talent of East London and Tech City.
Digital Shoreditch 2013 will see Shoreditch Town Hall transformed into an extraordinary digital playground from Monday to Sunday, 20 to 26 May, with a community programme the following week, until Friday 31 May.
The event will see themed days focused on tomorrow’s digital world, capital and growth, brands and creative tech, play, and a makeathon – as well as social gatherings and the ‘Greatest Digital Exhibition.’
Kristin Brewe, Director of Marketing & Communications at the IAB stated, “Because of our focus on digital creativity and innovation, we’re excited to support Digital Shoreditch, celebrating the dynamic and entrepreneurial spirit of London’s digital community.”
This year, the IAB is also celebrating the ten-year anniversary of its Creative Showcase, honouring the best in digital advertising. Its monthly awards honour digital innovation from the UK’s leading agencies and in-house teams, with the Creative Showcase Grand Prix event taking place on 6 March at the Barbican Conservatory.
Kristin Brewe added, “Creativity is essential to the digital medium, both in terms of driving engagement and in terms of pushing the realm of the possible. It’s inspiring to see what innovative people can do with technology and our Creative Showcase Grand Prix will offer be a chance for people to come together and honour great thinking and amazing execution.”
