IAB Email Council launches blog to promote and debate the latest developments in email marketing.

www.iabemail.com created as a destination for council news and email marketing debate.

The IAB Email Council council has launched a blog to aid the promotion of its initiatives and encourage industry debate.

www.iabemail.com will serve to inform the market about all council projects, request feedback and provide opinion on the latest developments within the sector.

As well as featuring regular blogs from members of the IAB Email Marketing council, the site is also home to a new email handbook, the latest email research and a range of educational video designed to demistify email marketing.

Beccy Stanley, chair of IAB email council and senior account director at Tullo Marshall Warren said: “The IAB email council is passionate about email. They come from all walks of (marketing) life – agencies, clients, email service providers – and all have different experiences and opinions of email.

"This blog is the place for them to promote, debate and further the developments and best practice of email. It is also the place for all marketers to get the latest news, thoughts and opinions that matter.”

The IAB Email Council is made up of 17 members, representing some of the UK's biggest players in the sector. The council exists to help marketers find the best role for email marketing, to engage customers and build their brands through education and inspiration.
