The IAB’s Video Advertising Council, in conjunction with our member company VideoJug, has produced two online videos that set the scene for video advertising in 2008.
Video content has been thrust into the spotlight over the last 18 months but it was only in the latter half of 2007 that advertising models became readily available. To highlight this fact and to discuss the practicalities of using online video as an advertising format, a number of Council members have provided interviews – using the power of the medium they’re talking about!
The first video takes a look at the advertising formats made available now by the likes of Channel 4, Sky, ITV, Joost and many other online publishers.
VideoJug: What Is Video Advertising?
The second video is a thought provoking insight into the future and the coming year of video advertising.
VideoJug: What Is The Future Of Video Advertising?
Earlier in the year the Video Advertising Council produced the Video Advertising Handbook offering useful advice and tips for marketers thinking about using the video format. Following up on these projects, the Council is now working toward establishing video advertising standards to be launched in 2008.
