GSMA - the organisation which represents the interests of the worldwide mobile communications industry - is set to launch what it calls "a new era in mobile media" when it unveils its Mobile Media Metrics initiative on 4th February.

GSMA Mobile Media Metrics will provide rich audience, planning and reporting information and will help the media and advertising communities to realise the full potential of mobile as a personalised marketing channel.
Mobile Media Metrics will - for the first time - provide census level, anonymous data and give an accurate insight into the who, what and how of the mobile internet in the UK.
The launch event takes place on Thursday, 4th February at the BFI IMAX London. Key speakers at the event will be Rory Sutherland, IPA president and vice-chairman of Ogilvy UK; Bob Wootton, director marketing & advertising, ISBA; and Michael Smith, deputy director of interactive services, COI
To register for the launch, visit www.gsmworld.com/mobilemetricslaunch.
Spanning 219 countries, the GSMA unites nearly 800 of the world’s mobile operators, as well as more than 200 companies in the broader mobile ecosystem.
