UKOM has today started its three-year exclusive contract with comScore to deliver industry standard online audience measurement.
comScore was selected from a competitive tender in 2011 as being best able to fulfil the industry's requirements for credible and flexible audience measurement in this dynamic medium.
The new contract covers new areas for UKOM, including comScore's web, mobile and video measurement systems, and a new de-duplicated "Multi Platform" reach measure for online brands operating across any number of these digital platforms.
The UKOM Board took the decision to appoint comScore unanimously, following equally unambiguous guidance from the panel of commercial and research experts from across the industry who reviewed the five supplier submissions.
Each month the IAB produces a short summary of UKOM data which shows the top 10 most visited websites and UK internet usage trends. Visit the Audience Measurement section of the IAB site to find out more.
