Apple's iPad is expected to be the bestselling electronic item this Christmas, suggests DSG International (DSGi).Wednesday, 28 July 2010
The electric retailer, owner of Currys and PC World, revealed its list for the top ten bestselling goods for Christmas yesterday (July 27th).
DSGi has predicted that the tablet device will be the most desired electronic good this Christmas, even though Apple has already sold more than three million of them.
Jeremy Fennell from DSGi said: "There is no doubt that the iPad is going to be the number one Christmas gift this year.
"It has already proved incredibly popular and with even more accessories launching it's only going to make a must-have technology even more attractive."
Other items that are predicted to sell well over the festive season include Microsoft's Kinect for Xbox 360.
The hands free motion sensor is released in November and includes voice and face recognition technology, which allows users to control their games with their bodies.
E-readers, 3D TVs and cameras are also expected to do well at Christmas.
