This course has been designed to guide delegates through the often challenging world of digital project management and production leaving them with adaptable skills that can be applied to any web project they might be tasked with.

What it covers


There is no such thing as a ‘typical web project.’ They vary in form, length and complexity which means managing them can be a difficult experience. Successful project managers have to deal with mixed teams all with different roles and responsibilities, tight budgets and deadlines as well as managing the excitement and expectations of others. They need a project management style that can be adapted to match the diverse range of tasks they are expected to undertake.

This course has been designed to guide delegates through the often challenging world of digital project management and production leaving them with adaptable skills that can be applied to any web project they might be tasked with.

  • From concept to delivery; the processes behind digital display, microsite build and major website builds
  • Get a clear guide to roles and responsibilities – who is responsible for what
  • A comprehensive review of social media and mobile projects
  • How to read and understand a media plan
  • Get the tools to monitor and manage budgets
  • A look at how to effectively manage timings and risks
  • Learn vital techniques to ensure people deliver on-time, on-brief and in-budget
  • Overview of Prince 2 for digital
  • Introduced to the basics of Agile
  • Step by step guide to the approval process; testing, bug fixes and sign off
  • A look at the challenges of digital project management
  • How to scope digital projects
  • The evaluation process – the lessons learned
