The IAB's showcase event, Engage, claims a top honour at the UK Event Awards.
The IAB has been awarded In House Event of the Year for its flagship event, Engage, at the UK Event Awards.
The awards, organised by industry title The Drum, are now in their 4th year and recognise and reward the very best of Britain's events industry.
Engage fought off strong competition in its category, taking the top spot ahead of London Zoo's highly regarded Zoo Lates initiative and StrictlySW7, an exclusive dinner party held at the Natural History Museum, Science Museum and the V&A.
Guy Phillipson, Chief Executive of the IAB, comments: "We are thrilled to be acknowledged as best in-house event of the year for Engage. This reflects the great work of everyone at the IAB along with our members who help make such events possible.
"We look forward to exceeding all expectations in 2014 when we'll be celebrating 10 years of our flagship event and launching our digital up fronts as a part of Engage."
The inaugural IAB Engage took place in 2005 and featured keynote presentations from Sir Martin Sorrell and Bill Gates. The annual conference has become a must-attend event for anyone with an interest in digital advertising.
Over the years, the event has played host to a wide range of key players from all sectors within the industry as well as a range of celebrity speakers including Stephen Fry, Jimmy Carr and Rob Brydon.
In 2014 the IAB will be celebrating 10 years of Engage. The anniversary event will take place on 15th October 2014 at the Barbican in London.
