Sophia Amin
Staff profile
Sophia joined the IAB in March 2011 as Director of Marketing and Communications.
She is responsible for all marketing across the IAB - from promoting events such as the acclaimed IAB Engage conference, to maximising exposure of day-to-day news stories, from managing member communications, to protecting and developing the IAB UK brand.
Membership is also a core part of her role, working with the team to retain and acquire members and ensure the IAB offering continues to be as unique and desirable as it has always been.
Currently she is also driving the agenda around creativity in digital advertising, through the IAB’s Creative Showcase awards.
Before joining the IAB, Sophia held the position of Group Account Director at Dare, where she worked on digital strategy and integrated campaign activity for Sainsbury’s, Barclays and ITV to name a few. She also assisted the head of Client Service and developed the training programme for the department.
Her previous roles include account directing various FMCG clients at Joshua Interactive and account managing Shell’s CSR programme at Proximity London.
Sophia is also a regular supporter of the NABS Fast Forward training programme where she mentors delegates through the pitch process.
